Arsenal have completed the signing of Greece international forward Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for a reported fee of £34m.

The 24-year-old has joined the Premier League champions on a long-term contract, with the club describing him as a versatile attacking player capable of operating across the front line.

Tzolis arrives at the Emirates Stadium after an impressive spell with Club Brugge, where he scored 43 goals and provided 45 assists in 108 appearances.

His move follows the departure of Belgium forward Leandro Trossard to Besiktas earlier this month.
Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta praised the new signing’s qualities, highlighting his technical ability, finishing, and versatility.

“Christos naturally operates on the left but is comfortable across the front line. He’s an excellent finisher with both feet, thrives in tight spaces, and possesses incredible technical ability,” Berta said.

He added that Tzolis’ attacking contributions in recent seasons would strengthen Arsenal’s squad by adding energy, enthusiasm and a strong mentality.

The forward began his professional career at Greek club PAOK before moving to Norwich City in 2021. He made 30 appearances and scored three goals for the Canaries, while also spending loan spells at FC Twente and Fortuna Düsseldorf before joining Club Brugge.

Tzolis made his Premier League debut against Arsenal in September 2021, featuring in Norwich City’s 1-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium.

Speaking after completing his transfer, Tzolis said he had a positive discussion with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta about the club’s plans and his expected role in the team.
“I’m a direct player, I go for goals or assists. That’s my point of view as an attacker, as a winger,” he said.

“I’m always hungry to score or give the final pass to my teammates. I also work hard for the team, including the defensive side.”

The signing adds more attacking options for Arsenal as they prepare for another season competing for major honours.
