Benue University Lecturer Reportedly Killed by Gunmen In Makurdi
A lecturer at Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), Prof. Gabriel Nyityo of the Department of History, has reportedly been killed by unidentified gunmen.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at the academic’s residence in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
The assailants were said to have attacked him while he was asleep before escaping from the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear, and authorities have yet to announce any arrests or disclose a possible motive.
