Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has urged graduating students of Federal Government Girls’ College (FGGC), Gboko, to put God first in all their endeavours as they pursue their academic and professional aspirations.
The governor gave the charge on Friday while addressing the graduands during the school’s graduation ceremony held on the college premises in Gboko.
He encouraged the students to set high goals for themselves, strive for excellence in their future studies, and become responsible children to their families, patriotic citizens of Nigeria, and worthy ambassadors of their alma mater.
Governor Alia, whose nieces were among the graduating students, advised them to maintain a positive mindset and make wise decisions that would shape their future, noting that great opportunities lie ahead of them.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance and protection as they completed their secondary education and embarked on the next phase of their academic and career journeys.
