Tinubu Can Never Lose 2027 Presidential Election, Says Orji Kalu
Former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s political strength, declaring that the President can never lose an election.
Kalu spoke on Wednesday night when he appeared on Channels Television programme ‘Politics Today.’
According to him, he would congratulate whoever emerges victorious in an election, but maintained that President Tinubu possesses the political capacity and support needed to remain victorious.
“I will say congratulations to whoever wins, but President Tinubu can never lose,” Kalu said.
Reacting to the recent meeting between President Tinubu and Catholic bishops, said the President enjoys a cordial relationship with the Catholic Church and remains committed to respecting opposition voices and religious institutions.
The former governor also stated that he would resign from the All Progressives Congress, APC, on any day President Tinubu disrespects the opposition or the Catholic Church.
He stressed that the President has a very good relationship with the Catholic Church, noting that the recent engagement with Catholic bishops further demonstrated the administration’s commitment to dialogue, religious harmony and inclusiveness.
Kalu said respect for opposition groups and religious institutions remains essential to democratic governance, adding that he would not hesitate to leave the ruling party if the President departed from those principles.
The senator expressed confidence that President Tinubu would continue to promote unity and maintain constructive relationships with religious leaders and other stakeholders across the country.
